The Directorate of Secondary Education of Messenia organised with KANE the second mapping procedure of a new route in order to update the Mapp Application for smartphones. This time, the focus was on lakes of North Peloponnese where students have design and propose a route of unique beauty in a fantastic landscape.
A Multiplier Event under the mAPP my Europe project was held on November 13, 2020 in Bulgaria. Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 situation and the ban on holding indoor events, the event was conducted in the yard of the Architectural-ethnographic Open Air Museum „Stariya Dobrich” in the town of Dobrich, Bulgaria. The Multiplier Event was organized by the Bulgarian organizations participating in the project: Regional Museum of History – Dobrich, Varna Economic Development Agency and Unseen Pro Ltd.
Todorka Dimitrova, a representative of VEDA, gave an overview of the mAPP my Europe project and introduced the audience to its goals and implementation. In the following presentations were presented the two main intellectual products created as a result of the project – a smartphone application and a digital book. Dimitar Atanasov from UnseenPro presented in detail the mobile application and the routes included in it, demonstrating its installation and use. The third presentation was given by Ivelina Romanova, a representative of RIM-Dobrich and was dedicated to the Non-Formal Cultural Heritage Education Book. She acquainted the present young people, teachers, journalists and citizens with the content and structure of the book, as well as with the possibilities for its use.
The Museo Memoria de Andalucía of CajaGranada Foundation has hosted a one-day event of the European program ‘mApp My Europe’, presenting the latest results.
The event which was organized the Center for Languages and Intercultural Education (CELEI), was presented ‘The Non-Formal Cultural Heritage Education Book’, the project book ‘mApp my Europe’ with 26 examples of good European practices, to their target audience. The attendees were students from the Faculty of Education, since the foreign members of the consortium could not travel to Spain.The materials presented in this session are specified in an online non-formal education book on cultural heritage for trainers and teachers interested in cultural heritage activities and a mobile application for youth tourism, which will offer different cultural tourism routes to young people from different regions of Europe.
Within the framework of the mAPP my Europe program, a transnational training was held in Kalamata. The transnational trainings “Urban Art for Regional Legacy”’ took place from July 25 to July 26, 2019.
The training was organized by Social Youth Development, K.A.NE. The aim of this training was to let participants to develop a more opened perspective on the Street Art phenomenon, exploring the culture that create it all around the world. A total of 26 participants attended the training.

As our project is getting closer and closer to the finish line, the 10 partners from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Spain have joined, this time online, to discuss the last activities to be implemented:
the final touches for the “Non-Formal Cultural Heritage Education Book,” a methodology for Youth Workers who activate in the field of cultural heritage;
updates and new routes for the “mAPP my Europe” smartphone app available for IOS and Android;
final dissemination activities to be organized by the partners;
follow-up activities and future projects togeth er.
The final Partner Meeting was planned to take place in Granada, Spain, but due to the current safety measures, it had to be moved to the online sphere. All partners are grateful that irrespective of the situation, efficient cooperation and creativity are always present in the mAPP my Europe team.
Our project published a digital Book that consists of 26 activities of non formal education oriented to cultural heritage. In Greece, the respective partners have presented this intellectual output during a multiplier event that took place on 23 of September, at the hotel “Vista Marina” in Kalamata and was co-organized by the Social Youth Development (KANE) Organisation and the Directorate of Secondary Education of Messinia.
Following the COVID protocols, 35 youth workers and educators from Messenia had the opportunity to download and use the mAPP mobile application of cultural routes and to follow the presentation of selected activities of the digital book. The Greek cultural routes have been designed by students of schools of the Secondary Education of Messenia.
The event started with a short presentation by Filareto Vourko, the representative of KANE, on the objectives of the project, the technical points and the stages that have been implemented. Then the speech was given to Nikolaos Pefanis the director of the Secondary School, followed by the presentation of the digital book by Ioanna Ravani, Deputy Head of Environmental Education Center in Kalamata. Moreover, several educational activities of non-formal education contained in the book were presented by Vana Kelli, Director of the 3rd High School of Kalamata, Maria Stamatopoulou, Teacher of Paralia High School of Kalamata and Anastassios Manolakis, Teacher of 3rd High School of Kalamata, participants in the mobility training activities of the project.

A group of students in grade 12 from the Geo Milev Foreign Language School – Dobrich got acquainted with the activities under the mAPP my Europe project and enriched their worldview and knowledge about the cultural heritage of the city of Dobrich, Dobrudzha and Bulgaria within the European framework. They learned about innovative practices that museum specialists apply when presenting the cultural and natural heritage of their native land.

Members of the “Young Guide” Club at the „Geo Milev” Foreign Language School were guests of the Regional Museum of History in Dobrich. Their visit was part of the activities under the mAPP my Europe project funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme.

On December 20, the European “Mapp My Europe” Project was presented to the entire academic community by CELEI at the XIII International Congress of Education and Innovation «Inclusion, Technology and Society» held from December 17-20 in Granada.

took place at the headquarters of CajaGranada Foundation. During this day, we presented the brand-new app for mobile devices, as a result of this project and destined to disseminate European heritage in the form of tourist and cultural routes designed by and for young people.
